ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine swimmers cruised past the Macalester College Scots on Friday evening in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) dual with a score of 140 to 89 while claiming nine out of 13 top-times.

The Wildcats went one, two, three in the 200-yard medley relay with the St. Kate's "B" team finishing first. The team made up of Andrea Voelker, J. Dombroski, Emma Svendsen, and Maggie Menso clocked in at 1:51.13. The "A" team finished second made up of Jordyn Wentzel, Annie Voss, Amelia Baxley, and Anneke van Oosterom finished with a time of 1:52.56. The team made up of Gillian Duran, Hannah Svendsen, Brenna Bartell, and Macy Klein were third with a time of 1:55.36. 

Sammi Friedrich finished with the top-time in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:06.94 ahead of teammate, Molly McMahon as the runner-up at 11:15.63. 

H. Svendsen was the top finisher in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 2:00.10 while Voss was just behind in second at 2:00.64. Baxley and Bartell were fifth and sixth, respectively while Mia Hocking was seventh and Laney Schwieters finished eighth. 

Wentzel finished first in the 50-yard freestyle .01 seconds ahead of Macy Klein with a season-best time of 24.71. Voelker was fifth at 25.88 and Jade Le Bris was 13th at 32.53. 

In the 200-yard individual medley, St. Kate's claimed the top four times led by Menso at 2:11.97. E. Svendsen was second at 2:15.10, Dombroski finished third at 2:15.22 and van Oosterm had the fourth top-time at 2:19.40. 

St. Kate's claimed five of the nine top-times in the 100-yard butterfly as H. Svendsen earned her second individual win going 1:00.05. Friedrich was just behind at 1:04.60 and Baxley was fifth at 1:06.12. 

Wentzel was the top-finisher in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.92 and van Oosterom was second touching the wall at 55.55. 

E. Svendsen, Voss, and Voelker were the top finishers in the 500-yard freestyle led by rookie E. Svendsen. Her first-place time of 5:17.90 was ahead of Voss at 5:21.15 and Voelker with a time of 5:27.28. 

The final title of the evening for St. Kate's was in the 100-yard breaststroke with rookie Mia Hocking finishing first at 1:16.58. Hocking was just ahead of Sophia Erikson at 1:18.60 and Amara Ramierz with the third best time of 1:18.62.
