I'm proud to be a Wildcat because:Â
I am proud to be a Wildcat because to me, the Wildcats don't just represent St. Catherine, they represent women who will go above and beyond to get the most out of their lives and be part of something larger than themselves. They are hard-working, diligent, and supportive of each other and I want nothing more than to be part of that.
What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine?:Â
I love being part of the community of student-athletes. Given the smaller size of the school, the athletes often encounter others from different sports and get to know each other outside of their own sport. Eventually, it leads to entire sports teams supporting each other at games, meets, tournaments, matches, you name it. It allows for diversity and in addition to multiple teams, it really allows one to feel part of one big team - the Wildcats.
I chose to attend St. Kate’s because: After touring the campus, I fell in love with the people, the culture, the environment, and so much more. Already, St. Kate's had begun to feel like my home away from home. I also really wanted to swim in college and after I met with the coach and the team members, I could easily envision myself as a member of that team. I had often heard from friends and family and St. Kate's alumnae that this school would allow me to grow as a woman of character and a leader in today's society, and after encountering so many young women who were driven to get more than just an education at St. Kate's, I knew that the claims were true and I knew for sure that I wanted St. Kate's to be the next chapter of my life.
