ST. PAUL, Minn. -- St. Catherine volleyball dropped their fifth consecutive match falling to No. 23 Bethel University on Saturday evening at
Butler Center.
The Royals opened the first set taking a five point lead before St. Kate's was on the board. Bethel controlled the first set taking down St. Kate's 25-12.
The Wildcats found momentum in set two going back and forth tying the match ten times and trading the lead five times. In the third and final set, the Wildcats carried the lead for most of the play again tying the score ten times and trading the lead four times. St. Kate's held on until the final minutes with a 23-22 lead before allowing the Royals to take the match 25-23.

Lexie Petrick each had 14 digs in the match as Petrick led in the kills column with a team-best eight.
St. Catherine is home again on Wednesday hosting Augsburg University before a two-game road trip to St. Scholastica and St. Benedict. St. Kate's is home for a final regular season match against Macalester on October 30th.
