ST. PAUL, Minn. - St. Catherine basketball returned to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play falling to the Hamline University Pipers 57-41 on Saturday afternoon at
Butler Center.
Rookie
Bree Glynn led the way against the Pipers on Saturday posting eight points and grabbing seven boards in the conference matchup. Senior
Jackie Radford followed up Glynn with seven points and nine rebounds.
The Pipers led the charge throughout the first quarter with St. Catherine trailing by three after the first ten minutes of play. St. Catherine switched the momentum taking their only lead of the contest at 7:56 in the second quarter after a seven-point run. Both teams went on to post eight points each in the second quarter with St. Catherine still trailing by three at the half.
Despite the 21 turnovers committed by the Pipers in the contest, Hamline outscored the Wildcats 35-22 at the conclusion of the game.

Kassidy Jenkins played a tough defensive game adding one block and shooting 50 percent from the field for six points. First-year
Cierra Ahlf also had contributed six points in the game making two of her three, three-point shots.
The Wildcats return to MIAC play on Wednesday, January 8 as they travel to the College of Saint Benedict for a 7 pm.
