Biography
2019: This will be Francois's first season with the Wildcats.
High School: State tournament appearances sophomore and junior year, 3A 2018-2019 State champion, senior captain, 2018-2019 All-Tournament Team, Islander Award recipient for contributions and achievement, lettered in varsity basketball four years. Yearbook captain, LaSallian Ministry captain, Social Justice week spokesperson, honor roll, Starry Night Prom committee.
Personal: Daughter of Liz and George Francois. Will study Nursing at St.Catherine.
I am proud to be a Wildcat because: I feel like it best compliments who I am/who I hope to continue growing as.
I chose to attend St. Kate's because: When I made the decision to attend St. Catherine University I was not only choosing to follow in my mom's footsteps, but I was also choosing to play basketball at a level that I could pursue my career goals and close enough to home so my family can come watch. My mom graduated from St. Kate's in 1986, with her BA in Nursing, which has now become one of my many dreams. Between Coach Mulhern, Coach Kjar, and Coach Davis I would say that one of them was at almost every one of my games during my senior season, which is also the year my team won state. They showed genuine interest in my athletic abilities, but also showed interest in helping me build character on and off the court.
