Box Score After opening up Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play with a loss to Carleton College in November, the St. Catherine University basketball team hoped it would find a way to pull off its first conference win in a second go-round with the Knights.

Kristen Lee (Dawson, Minn.) turned in a career-high performance for the Wildcats, but it wasn't enough as the sharp-shooting Knights handed the Wildcats an 82-49 MIAC loss, Wednesday evening in Northfield, Minn.
Lee was impressive all night as she bested her previous career high – a 15-point performance in a 2010 win over Carleton – with 18 points. The guard was 7-for-11 from the floor and shot 50 percent from beyond the arc.
The Wildcats appeared to have control of the first half early, as they opened up with a 5-0 run and held a 15-12 advantage with just over 11 to play in the game's opening 20.
The Knights were just getting started, though, as they scored 10 points off first-half turnovers by the Wildcats and strung together two big runs late to take a 39-20 lead into halftime.
The Knights continued their impressive 3-point shooting to open the second half and put a Wildcat comeback out of reach.
Sarina Baker (Playmouth, Minn.) also reached double digits with a 13-point performance for the Wildcats. The sophomore also had a team-high three steals, while
Cynthia Cowan (Elgin, Texas) led the team in rebounds (8).
First-year Gabby Steinstra was 5-for-6 from 3-point range for the Knights and led both teams with 19 points, while Skylar Tsutsui had 16.
Mary Neumann (Duluth, Minn.) played strong defensively for the Wildcats, leading in defensive rebounds (5) and blocks (3). The sophomore also had two steals and knocked down six points.
The Wildcats continue their three-game road trip as they take on the league-leading, No. 9 University of St. Thomas at Schoenecker Arena, Saturday. Tip off is scheduled for 1 p.m.
