High School: At Elgin High School in Elgin, Texas, Cynthia was named to the 1st Team All-District one year and the Academic All-District team four years. She was team captain, named Bastrop County Player of the Year and also named her team's Outstanding Player of the Year. Outside of playing basketball, Cynthia volunteered as a basketball coach with a local youth organization and also coached a 5th-6th grade team at a local school.

Personal: Cynthia's favorite athletic team is the Boston Celtics and her favorite player is Rajon Rondo. Her favorite sports memory is winning a championship game with only 5 players due to their point guard tearing her ACL in the first half. Before she graduates, she wants to see all the winter carnivals.
