First year track & field athlete Haley Tsuji has been named Wildcat Athlete-of-the-Week after her stellar performance at the Bethel Invitational.

It took Tsuji only two meets to pick up the first victory of her college pole vaulting career. Tsuji cleared 10-6 (3.20 meters) to take top honors at the meet.

Her performance was not only a personal best, but just missed a St. Kate's school record. Tsuji's mark is also the fourth best in the MIAC (one centimeter out of second on the conference performance list).

Hayley and the rest of the Wildcats return to action on Saturday February 12th at the St. Ben's dual meet.
