Junior Kelsey Nistler has been named Wildcat Athlete of the Week for   her strong play, and helping the Wildcats to a 1-0-1 record for the week. 

On Tuesday, the Wildcats defeated Macalester for the first time in school history. Against Macalester Nistler scored to put St. Kate’s up 2-1. Then in overtime she picked up an assist on a perfectly sent corner that Christina Paik headed in for the game winner.

On Saturday, Nistler scored the Wildcats lone goal as St. Kate’s tied Gustavus 1-1.

Nistler, who serves as a team captain, leads the team in scoring with 19 points on 7 goals and 5 assists.
