Sophomore softball student-athlete, Angela Huepfel earns her first Fleur-de-lis award for the countless hours spent volunteering with individuals with cerebral palsy this year. The exercise and sport science major is working on completing the pre-requisites to be accepted into the Physical Therapy program at St. Catherine and continues to be inspired by the work she is doing at the Courage Kenny Center. In addition to facilitating adaptive exercise classes and assisting individuals in the pool who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy. In addition to her work at Courage Kenny, Huepfel has also spent time volunteering with Special Olympics and in classroom settings. Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute is part of Allina Health providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and community services.
