NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University track and field team wrapped up the outdoor regular season on Saturday in Northfield with two PR performances along with three season best marks.
Leading the way for St. Kate's was graduate student
Gabby Bodin with a season-best time of 15.91 in the 100-meter hurdles, good for second place.
In the 800-meter run,
Kaitlyn Peterson finished in eleventh with a time of 2:40.99 while
Isabel Hernandez-Monroy recorded a PR time of 3:08.04 in 14th.
In the 1500-meter run,
Lauren Kennedy was 28th overall with a time of 5:35.37 while Peterson clocked a season-best time of 5:44.18 to finish 31st.
In the field,
Maggie Lewandowski finished 16th in the discus with a mark of 29.33m. Lewandowski also appeared in the shot put with a PR mark of 10.40m to finish in 10th place overall. Senior
Abby Althoff was right behind in shot put throwing a season-best mark of 9.59m. The pair also competed in the hammer as Altoff led the way in 10th with a mark of 35.26m while Lewandowski was 13th with a mark of 32.54m.
The final event for Bodin on Saturday was the long jump as she finished sixth with a mark of 4.88m.
The next thing on the schedule for the Wildcats is the MIAC Outdoor Championship hosted May 9 and 10th at Carleton College in Northfield.
