ARDEN HILLS, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University track & field team tallied multiple personal and season-best results at the Bethel University Invite on Saturday. St. Kate's posted two PRs along with three season-best results at the meet.
In the field,
Maggie Lewandowski and
Abby Althoff had season-best marks in the shotput, as Lewandowski finished 25th with a mark of 9.59m. Althoff followed with a mark of 9.29m to place 30th overall. They each competed in the hammer throw as Lewandowski posted a mark of 34.89m, with Althoff just behind, throwing 34.35m.
Senior
Lily Harvey continued her PR season, posting a career-best time in the 1500m, clocking a time of 5:28.30.
Mist Sit debuted in the event with a time of 5:36.07, winning their heat.
In the 800-meter run,
Kaitlyn Peterson had a PR finish of 2:39.88 and
Isabel Hernandez-Monroy tallied a season-best time of 3:14.86. The final competitor on Saturday was first-year
Lauren Kennedy, who appeared in the 5K finishing 20th overall with a time of 22:07.51.
The Wildcats travel to Mankato on Friday, April 18, to compete at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
