DULUTH, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University softball dropped two on the road to the College of St. Scholastica Saints on Thursday afternoon in Duluth. The pair of conference losses puts St. Kate's at 13-19 with an MIAC record of 5-9.

St. Catherine took a 1-0 lead in the second on a
Kylee Kohout RBI single. St. Scholastica responded in the third with two runs, including a sacrifice fly and smart baserunning. The Wildcats threatened late with a triple from
Helen McKinnon but couldn't convert, falling 2-1.

St. Catherine took a 2-0 lead with runs in the 3rd and 6th innings, highlighted by RBI hits from Annie Cook and
Kylee Kohout. But St. Scholastica rallied in the 7th, scoring three runs on a sac fly, wild pitches, and a bases-loaded walk to walk it off, 3-2.
St. Kate's will host Macalester College Scots on Saturday, April 19 as the program will honor
Sarah Posey as the lone graduating senior on the team. The doubleheader is scheduled to start at 1 pm.
