NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University track and field team completed the indoor regular season at the St. Olaf College Tostrud Classic on Friday evening tallying xx PR performances plus a top-ten program record.
In the field, senior
Abby Althoff was the Wildcats top finisher in the weight throw with a mark of 10.22m just ahead of sophomore
Maggie Lewandowski who delivered a mark of 10.13m. Lewandowski was St. Kate's top finisher in the shot put with a mark of 9.50m and Althoff followed with a mark of 8.06m.
Lily Harvey continued her PR indoor season coming in 14th place in the 3K with a PR time of 11:47.45. The Wildcats other two competitors in the 3K also PR'd with
Mist Sit in at 11:59.11 and
Lauren Kennedy clocking in at 12:53.63.
In the 800-meter run, Katilyn Peterson finished 17th with a PR time of 2:39.98 shaving nearly seven seconds off her previous best time of 2:46.33 from earlier this season.
Graduate student
Gabby Bodin had another record day with a PR time of 9.89 in the 60-meter hurdles to move into eighth all time in program history. Bodin's PR was achieved in the preliminary trials before finishing with a time of 9.97 in finals, good for 4th overall.
St. Kate's will compete in the 2025 MIAC Indoor Championships next weekend hosted by the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. The championships kick off Friday for St. Kate's.
