COLLEGEVILLE, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University indoor track & field team traveled to Saint John's University on Saturday afternoon competing in the CSB/SJU Invite. Three Wildcats posted PR performances with two athletes debuting in their events.
Sophomore
Kaitlyn Peterson recorded an 11th place finish in the 600-meter run with a PR time of 1:56.62. Rookie
Lauren Kennedy debuted in the 1K recording a time of 3:47.51 in 14th place and
Mist Sit also made their debut in the 3K with a time of 12:20.45, good for ninth place. The final PR on the track was from senior
Lily Harvey recording a time of 20:41.69, good for 12th place. This is Harvey's fourth PR of her senior season, including PRing twice in the 5K.
Also on the PR train this indoor season has been Maggie Lewandoski who recorded a 24th place time in the shot put with a PR mark of 10.00m. Lewandowski also appeared in the weight throw event coming in 34th at 9.10m. Senior
Abby Althoff finished the shot put event with a mark of 8.85m and was 31st overall in the WT with a best throw of 10.47m.
The Wildcats close out the regular indoor season at St. Olaf on Friday, February 21.
