ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine Univeristy hockey team dropped a 4-1 decision to the Hamline University Pipers on Friday evening at Tria Rink in St. Paul. The loss to the Pipers puts St. Kate's at 5-16-1 overall with a conference record of 3-12-0.
The Pipers struck first adding their first goal 41 seconds into the opening frame. Rookie
Ana Myers tallied her 17th of the season to tie the game with just over eight minutes to play in the first period. Myers goal was assisted by first-year
Aubree McDonagh. Hamline scored one more in the second period with less than 30 second to play taking the 2-1 lead.
Hamline added their final two in the second period with the first in the third minute of play and the final goal scored with less than four minutes to play.

Addie Oettinger made 32 saves in the game as Myers led the shot count with six on net.
