IN THE POLLS
Two MIAC women's golf teams were ranked, and three more received votes in the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) Division III Mizuno Top 25 Poll, released on September 26. Carleton is ranked No. 13 with St. Catherine at No. 20. Macalester, Gustavus, and Saint Benedict each received votes in the balloting.

St. Catherine sophomore Caylin Cantwell (Blaine, Minn. / Totino Grace) led the Wildcats to their best team finish of the fall season with a tournament-low round of 298 on day two of the St. Kate's Fall Invite on 9/21. Cantwell's par round of 72 earned her fifth-place on the individual leaderboard and helped secure second-place as a team for the Wildcats. It was Cantwell's second top-five finish of the season; the first was a runner-up result at the Carleton Fall Invite on 9/6-7.

Cantwell and the rest of the Wildcats competing this weekend are all newcomers to the MIAC championship as all five of the 2024 championship team are no longer competing for St. Kate's.
