ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University hockey team fell short in game one of the MIAC series with the Concordia College Cobbers on Friday evening at Drake Arena. The 3-2 loss puts the Wildcats at 2-9-0 in MIAC play with an overall record of 4-13-1.
The Cobbers added their first goal seven minutes into the second period before tallying their second goal at 15:14.

Madi Schwengler recorded her first goal of the season off a breakaway under a minute remaining in the second.
Ana Myers knotted the game up at 2-2 27 seconds into the third period for her 15th of the season and unassisted.
The Cobbers claimed the win in the third scoring four minutes into the final period.
Lea Grassia took the loss in net allowing three goals making 13 saves.
Addie Oettinger finished the game making four saves in the third.
St. Kate's will host the Cobbers again on Saturday at Drake Arena with puck drop scheduled for 2 pm.
