SAINT PETER, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University hockey team were defeated by the Gustavus Adolphus College Golden Gusties on Saturday in a 6-2 game. St. Kate's sits at 2-8 in conference play with an overall 4-12-1 record.
Halle Dunleavy put the Wildcats on the board first finding the back of the net three minutes into play. Dunleavy's early goal was assisted by 
Michelle Smith and 
Paige Loidolt to go up 1-0. Loidolt was responsible for the Wildcats second goal at 6:12 in the second period off a pass from rookie 
Sara Cooney. 
The Gusties went onto add their first goal to get on the board 10 minutes into the second and tied it three minutes later while on a 5 on 3 advantage.
Gustavus added four in the third period to take the 6-2 victory over the Wildcats for the MIAC sweep. 
St. Kate's will host the Concordia College Cobbers on Friday, Jan 31 and Saturday, Feb 1 at Drake Arena.Â
