Box Score HASTINGS, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University hockey team defeated the Lawrence University Vikings on Saturday afternoon played at Scheels Rink at the United Hereos League Complex in Hastings, Minnesota. The Wildcats claimed the 2-1 victory in the inaugural NCAA game played at Scheels Rink, the future site of Hockey Day Minnesota 2026.

Ana Myers with an assist from first-year
Paige Fasching four minutes into the first period. Lawrence answered with a short handed goal at 8:35 in the period knotting it at 1-1 after one.
St. Kate's game winner was scored by first-year
Samantha Bogen with an assisted from sophomore
Sarah Wangen at 9:22 into the second period. Both teams remained scoreless for the remainder of the contest for the 2-1 final.
St. Kate's will travel to St. Cloud on Friday, January 17 as they return to conference play for game one against the College of Saint Benedict Bennies. They return to Drake Arena on Saturday, January 18 with puck drop scheduled for 2 pm.
