Kelsey Dorr led the Wildcats advancing to the singles semifinal round
In the ITA Midwest Regional Doubles Championships, Dorr competed with first-year
Caitlyn Stadter as the No. 4 seed earning a first round bye. Dorr and Stadter edged out Hutchinson and Papanicholas from Loras College 8-2 before falling to Grinnell's Chavan and Sargent 8-5 in the round of 16. Also competing in the doubles championship draw was sophomore
Faith Simon and fifth-year
Monica Zink who defeated Vala and Mahoney from Central College 8-7 (5). Simon and Zink ultimately fell to the No. 5 seeded team of Fuchs and Lee from UW-Eau Claire 8-2.Â
During the ITA Midwest Regional Singles Championship, Dorr made it to the semifinal match as the No. 5 seed falling to Karina Elvestrom from Gustavus who claimed the regional singles title. Dorr's first win of the tournament was over Tansy Graves from Cornell by a score of 6-0, 6-2. Her next win was also in straight sets taking down Alli Laux from Gustavus 7-5, 6-1 before completing Saturday's matches defeating Molly Asfeld from UW-Whitewater 6-2, 6-0. Dorr's first match on Sunday was another straight set win taking down last year's champion, Lauryn Douglas, 7-5, 6-2. In the semifinal round, Dorr dropped her match to Elevestrom 6-1, 6-3 who defeated their opponent to win the singles championship on Monday morning.
Faith Simon claimed a win in the singles regional championship taking down Elizabeth Trevathan from Macalester 6-1, 6-3.Â
The Midwest Invite Singles and Doubles Championship took place concurrently with first-year
Ashley King winning her first match defeating Jennifer Larson from Central College 6-4, 6-3. Lily Holmberg claimed two win in her singles draw defeating Edgewood's Cassie Henderson 6-4, 6-3 and edging out Makayla Counsell from Carroll College 7-6 (5), 6-1.
Marie Pelletier also claimed two singles wins defeating Emma Kappel from UW-Lacrosse and Maria Sosa from St. Scholastica.
Erica Wing made it to the semifinal round with wins over Loras, Cornell and Northwestern-St. Paul. Wing and King played as a doubles pair with wins over Saint Benedict 8-4 and St. Scholastica 8-2.Â
