Box Score 2 EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- The St. Catherine University volleyball team dropped two matches on Saturday at the Sandy Schumacher Memorial Invite hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The Wildcats opened the day with a 3-0 loss to the University of Chicago before battling against UW-Eau Claire and falling 3-1. St. Kate's closed out the weekend 1-2 and are now 8-4 on the season.

In the Wildcats first match of the day,
Lexie Petrick tallied eleven kills with 11 digs for a team high 15 points.
Madison Fagan recorded five kills, four blocks and one digs while the Wildcats setters,
Lucia Neuman and
Addison Preuss had 12 assists each.
The Wildcats tallied 12 aces to the Maroon's two but UChicago led in kills, blocks and digs for a three set sweep.
MATCH TWO | UW-Eau Claire 3, St. Catherine 1
St. Kate's claimed the first set from the tournament host, UW-Eau Claire 25-22 before the Blugolds defeated the Wildcats in the next three sets for the win.
Liz Rosen hit .357 with eleven kills, one block and 19 digs with 11.5 points. Petrick had nine kills, 18 digs and three blocks and
Mallory Johnson posted nine kills, two blocks and four digs.
The Wildcats are scheduled to compete in the University of Northwestern-St. Paul Triangular playing the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh before the facing the Eagles of University of Northwestern.
