CLAREMONT, Calif. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team dropped their first game of the season against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in California. CMS defeated the Wildcats 5-0 putting St. Kate's at 3-1 on the season.

Brianna Valdez made her debut giving up two goals in the final 25 minutes of play.
The Wildcats are back in action on Sunday facing No. 11 Pomona Pitzer in Claremont, California with start time scheduled for 12:30 pm CT.
