Box Score CLAREMONT, Calif. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team fell to the No. 11 ranked Pomona Pitzer Sagehens on Sunday afternoon dropping the non-conference game 2-0. St. Kate's is now 3-2 before returning home on Wednesday to open the Minnesota Intercollegate Athletic Conference (MIAC) play. 

It was an uneventful first half for both teams playing to draw getting to halftime. Pomona Pitzer scored their first goal in the 52nd minute of play and sealed the win with their second in the 71st minute. 

Senior Kate Praetz made eight saves in the game allowing two goals in ninety minutes on the pitch. 

St. Kate's hosts Saint Mary's University on Wednesday, September 18 at 4 pm.
