ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team recorded a 2-0 win over the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Tuesday at St. Kate's Field. The non-conference game was the Wildcats final regular season home contest as they travel to Bethel University on Saturday to close out the regular season. St. Kate's holds an 11-2-4 record at this point with a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) record of 7-0-3.

Kallie Tuominen scored the game winner with finding the back of the net in the 7th minute. Tuominen's fourth goal of the season was assisted by junior
Natalie Pfleger off a one-touch pass from the corner.
St. Kate's took the 2-0 lead in the 40th minute of play as
Lillia Gray scored her first goal of her collegiate career. Gray's goal was off a pass from junior
Briana Henaman as Gray's shot sailed past two defenders and the Blue Devils keeper.
The Wildcats had 26 shots in the contest with ten on goal as the Blue Devils posted one shot on goal with eight shots total.
St. Kate's travels to Bethel University on Saturday, November 2 for the final MIAC regular season game. MIAC playoffs are scheduled to start Monday, November 4 with the third seed team hosting the sixth seeded team and the fourth seed will host the fifth seed. St. Kate's is currently tied in first with Carleton College at 7-0-3 for the top seed.
