ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team claimed a 3-0 shutout on Senior Day with a conference win over the Concordia College Cobbers. The day honored nine seniors on Saturday afternoon at St. Kate's Field. St. Kate's is tied for first in the MIAC at 7-0-3 along with Carleton College as they carry a 10-2-4 record on a three game win streak.
St. Kate's first goal was scored in the 10th minute with
Natalie Pfleger with help from graduate student,
Ari Green.
The Wildcats scored a second goal in the 40th minute as senior
Sydney Nelson was fouled in the box earning a PK opportunity. St. Kate's went into the half up 2-0 out shooting the Cobbers eleven to three.
Fifth-year
Kallie Tuominen added the Wildcats third goal of the win off a penalty kick goal in with ten minutes remaining in the contest.
The Wildcats' out shot the Cobbers overall 14 to six as fifth-year
Kate Praetz made one save in 90 minutes.

The Wildcat have two regular season game's remaining as they host the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Tuesday, October 29 at 3 pm in a non-conference game before closing out the regular season at Bethel on Saturday, November 2.
