ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team put on a show at St. Kate's Field on Tuesday with a 4-0 MIAC victory over the visiting College of St. Scholastica Saints. The victory puts St. Kate's back in the win collum with a record of 6-2-2 with a conference resume of 3-0-1.
Junior Natalie Pfelger put St. Kate's on the board early in the first half knocking one in in the 8th minute of play. Pfelger scored again in the 12th minute off a pass form
Kallie Tuominen to take the two-goal lead headed into the half.
Tuominen found the back of the net heading the ball in off a pass from
Kendra Lingman in the 46th minute of play. Pfleger's final goal came in the 61st minute with help from
Claire Cater as Pfleger recorded her first multi-goal game and her first hat trick of her career.
Pfleger led the shot count with six shots on goal and eight overall in her 47 minutes on the pitch.

Brianna Valdez split time in the net each making two saves in the contest.
St. Kate's travels to the College of Saint Benedict on Saturday for a 3 pm MIAC showdown and they will return to St. Paul on October 12 to host Carleton College at 1 pm.
