EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team earned a 1-0 win over non-conference foe, the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Tuesday evening to advance to 2-0 on the season.
The Blugolds claimed an own goal just three minutes into the game following a deflection from sophomore
Briana Henaman. The Wildcats had two shots on goal with three shots total all coming from fifth-year
Amanda Elton.
Senior keeper,
Kate Praetz earned the shutout win to tie for the program's all-time shutouts record making four saves in the contest.
St. Kate's returns to St. Paul to host Pomona-Pitzer on Friday at 2 pm.
