ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team recorded their eighth shutout of the season holding off the College of Saint Benedict on Saturday afternoon. The 2-0 victory puts St. Kate's at 9-2 overall with a perfect 5-0 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) record.

Kaidin Camp tallied her first career goal just before going into the half.
Amanda Elton sealed the win in the 67th minute deflecting the ball past the keeper off a shot from
Briana Henaman.
Senior goalkeeper
Kate Praetz earned her eighth shutout to become the Wildcats single-season shutouts leader and is now tied as the leader for shutouts in Division III. Praetz made ten saves in the game while
Amanda Elton led the shot count with three of her four shots on target.
The Wildcats travel to Menomonie, Wisconsin on Wednesday facing the University of Wisconsin-Stout at 7 pm.
