ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University volleyball team appeared at Butler Center for the first time this season hosting the College of Saint Benedict Bennies on Saturday evening for Alumnae Night. The Bennies topped the Wildcats in four sets to drop St. Kate's record to 7-4 overall with a MIAC record of 1-1. 
Lexie Petrick recorded a double double with eleven kills and 13 digs plus one aces while 
Tiffany Tellez also recorded a double double with ten kills and 13 digs plus two aces. 
Maggie Rosen and 
Madison Fagan were a force at the net with four blocks each and Petrick tallied three. 
Saint Benedict grabbed set one 25-19 before St. Kate's turned it around in set two maintaining the lead throughout for a 25-20 set. The third went to the Bennies after a back and forth battle tying the score four times in the last four points of the set. They went on to take set four for the match win after taking the lead after 4-4 and not looking back. 
St. Kate's is on the road Friday, September 29 as they travel to Augsburg for a 7 pm match followed by a non-conference match at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa on Saturday, September 30. The team returns to St. Paul hosting Macalester on Saturday, October 7 at 5 pm.
