ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team picked up a victory over MIAC rival, Augsburg University on Saturday afternoon for their sixth shutout of the season. St. Kate's is now 7-2 overall and 2-0 in conference play.

Ari Green struck first for St. Kate's tallying her six goal of the season and her third game winner at 11:04 in the first half. Green's goal was assisted by fifth-year
Amanda Elton for her third of the year.
The Auggies were able to hold St. Kate's off for the next 50 minutes of play when senior
Kallie Tuominen added her third goal of the year unassisted. Green went on to add one final goal in the 75th minute with help from sophomore
Briana Henaman.

Kate Praetz picked up her sixth shutout of her senior campaign making six saves in the game leading the MIAC so far this season in shutouts, goals against average and saves.
The Wildcats are back in action on Wednesday, September 27 as they travel to the College of St. Scholastica for a 4 pm MIAC matchup. They return home to host College of Saint Benedict at home on Saturday, September 30 at 1 pm.
