ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University soccer team clinched their third straight Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Playoff Championship Title with a 1-0 defeat of the Carleton College Knights. The championship title is the program's fourth conference playoff title and the third straight makes the Wildcats just the second team in conference history to record a three-peat. St. Catherine improves to 16-3-1 overall awaiting their fate for the first round of the NCAA Women's Soccer National Championship.

Kate Praetz recorded her 14th shutout of the season not allowing a single goal throughout the conference tournament. Praetz made three saves in her 90 minutes of play on Saturday to collect her 33rd shutout of her career.

Ari Green scored her 15th goal of the season and sixth game winner in the 27th minute of the championship final. Green ranks eighth in the nation this season for game-winners leading the MIAC for goals and points recording 39 to this points. Green's goal assisted by
