ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University hockey team fell to the visiting Northland College Lumberjills on Saturday afternoon 2-1. The Wildcats are now 1-1 overall on the season. 

Northland scored an unassisted goal three minutes into the first period sneaking past St. Kate's rookie goalkeeper Lea Grassia. 

The Wildcats tied it seven minutes later on an unassisted goal from rookie Julia Wilson for her first collegiate goal of her time in the purple and gold. 

The Lumberjills sealed the deal with less than a minute to play scoring another unassisted goal for the win. 

St. Kate's travels to Stevens Point on Saturday for another non-conference series against the WIAC. They return to Drake Arena on Friday, November 10 to open the MIAC season hosting Augsburg.
