ST. PETER, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University hockey team dropped their second straight game at the hands of the No. 2 ranked Gustavus Adolphus College Golden Gusties on Saturday afternoon. Fifth-year goaltender
Elizabeth Kubicek made 42 saves in the game, a season-high, in the 3-0 loss.
The Gusties found the back of the net with five minutes remaining in the opening frame. They scored again at 16:55 in the second and tallied their third goal at 4:41 into the final period.
St. Kate's was 3-3 on the penalty kill including holding off the Gusties in the final minute of the third to finish a three-goal game.
The Wildcats return to Drake Arena on Friday, February 3 hosting St. Olaf College at 7 pm.
