NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- St. Catherine volleyball opened the conference season with a 3-1 victory over the Carleton College Knights. The win improves the Wildcats to 9-3 overall and 1-0 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC).
St. Kate's fell behind in the first set falling 25-19 hitting just .108 tallying eight errors to Carleton's two. Things turned around in the second set with the Wildcats taking the set 25-19 forcing the Knights to 12 errors. St. Kate's continued the momentum into the last two sets to claim the win 3-1.
St. Catherine returns to the
Butler Center on Friday, September 23 for a 7 pm non-conference match with Buena Vista University.
