EAU CLAIRE, Wis. -- The St. Catherine University volleyball team improved to 7-2 on the season with a straight set sweep of Lakeland College.
The Wildcats hit .337 as a team in the three set win with 14 kills in the first two sets and 12 in the third.

Todd Nelson said, "I really liked how the team competed this afternoon against a good Lakeland team. Throughout the match, I felt like we played with control and executed our game plan."
Junior
Maggie Rosen added eight kills with a .500 attack percentage and Tiffany Tellez had six while hitting .353. Three others added five kills including rookies
Madison Fagan and
Emily Bredman each hitting .500.
Senior
Marissa Gilbertson added 15 assists while junior
Claire Segner led defensively with 11 digs.
St. Kate's is back in action on Saturday taking on Finlandia at 1 pm followed by a 3 pm match against the No. 13 ranked University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.
