DULUTH, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University hockey team dropped game one of the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) series with the College of St. Scholastica on Friday. The Wildcats fell 1-0 to the Saints for a season record of 6-2-1 and a conference record of 2-2-1.
The Wildcats won the shot count firing off 20 but unable to find the back of the net. The Saints were able to put up 19 shots including their one goal that came at 15:45 in the third period.

Paige Loidolt each had three shots on goal in the game.
Game two of the series is scheduled for Saturday in St. Paul with puck drop set for 2 pm.
