ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine University hockey team shut out the visiting Lawrence University Vikings on Friday evening in game one of the non-conference series. Senior forward
Marie Reimer highlighted the night adding her second career hat trick to the box score. The 6-0 win improves the team's overall record to 3-0 and is the third straight shutout victory over the Vikings.

Lauren Henriksen scored the game-winner 54 seconds into the opening period assisted by senior
Laura Denchfield. Henriksen added St. Kate's second goal halfway through the period with help from senior defenseman
Kaitlyn Blair and Denchfield.
Reimer's first goal of the game was scored two minutes after the first intermission with the assist going to sophomore forward
Madi Schwengler.
Denchfield scored the Wildcats fourth goal off a long pass from goalie
Elizabeth Kubicek to take a 4-0 lead only five minutes into the 2nd.
Reimer's second goal was scored five minutes later with the assists going to junior center
Madi Fleming from sophomore defenseman
Joslin Mumm. Her third goal came in the final three minutes of the game with the assist again coming from Fleming.
Kubicek had eleven saves in the game collecting her third career shutout and her 14th career win. Reimer led the shot count with six on goal followed by Blair and junior forward
Abby Pirkl each adding four.
