LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The St. Catherine soccer team played the Occidental College Tigers to a scoreless double overtime draw on Friday night in Los Angeles. The double overtime matching was the second straight 110 minute game for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats (0-0-2) were led by seniors
Taylor Johnson with five shots, three of which were on net and
Lauren Witte with two shots on goal. Sophomore keeper
Kate Praetz had three saves.
St. Kate's travels to Eau Claire, Wisconsin on Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. non-conference game before opening the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) at the College of Saint Benedict on Wednesday, September 15.
