ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The St. Catherine soccer team pulled out a 1-1 draw at Macalester College on Saturday evening at Macalester Stadium.
Both teams played a scoreless game until the 82nd minute when senior
Lauren Witte deflected a ball with a touch from the Scots defense to put the Wildcats up 1-0.
Macalester tied the game in the 87th minute to force an extra 20 minutes of play. Both teams were unable to score in the extra 20 minutes knotting the game at 1-1 after 110 minutes of play.
Junior
Amanda Elton had three shots with one on goal, along with first-year
Kendra Lingman, sophomore
Emily Stephens, and first-year
Sydney Nelson.
Sophomore Kate Pratez played 110 minute in goal with three saves and allowing just one goal.
