PAUL, Minn. - The St. Catherine University soccer team (1-0, 0-0) opened the home season with a 7-0 victory over the University of Wisconsin-Stout (0-1, 0-0 WIAC) extending their undefeated home streak to thirteen dating back to the 2017 season. Amora Valencia scored her first collegiate goal assisted by Carey just two minutes before Witte scored her second goal of the game assisted by rookie Mandy Elton, 32:36 minutes into the first half. Going into the half, St. Kate's led UW-Stout 4-0 with 16 shots to the Blue Devils 3.

Dana Lehtinen scored her fourth goal in purple and gold and first this season with an assist by senior forward
Allie Bird. With another five minutes elapsed on the clock, Bird scored the Wildcats 6th goal of the game on a penalty kick following a hand band offense on the Blue Devils in the box.
