We not only take pride in how well our sports teams are on the field, but also off the field. Our athletic program trains us to be strong athletes and successful human beings.
What do you enjoy most about being a student-athlete at St. Catherine University?
I love how supportive all the staff members and professors are of the athletic programs. You can feel the spirit school wide when there is a big game or event going on.
I chose to attend St. Kate's because: my grandmother graduated in the occupational therapy program at St. Kate's. I also feel in love with the soccer program on my first visit early spring of my senior year in high school.
2017: Janssen appeared in 20 games for the Wildcats in her sophomore season and started in 19. Janssen had 19 shots.
2016: In her first season with St. Kate's, Janssen played in 19 games and started 10 for the Wildcats. She scored the first goal of her collegiate career in St. Kate's 5-1 win over Minnesota-Morris on September 1.
High School: Janssen had a very successful career at North High School. As a senior she was named All-Conference, team MVP, and Best Defensive Place. She was also an A Honor Roll student.
Personal: Janssen chose St. Kate's because of the soccer team, coaching staff, and program. After her first tour on campus, she knew St. Kate's was the place she wanted to call home for the next four years. Janssen is the daughter of Julie and David Janssen.
