ST. PETER, Minn. - The St. Catherine University Wildcat tennis team traveled to St. Peter, Minnesota on Sunday morning for a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) match. The No. 31 ranked Gustavus Adolphus College Golden Gusties defeated the Wildcats 8-1.Â
The Gusties swept St. Kate's in singles competition in the conference match. Juniors

Alisha Wiedmeier played in the No. 1 & No. 2 single matches, respectively, both falling 0-6, 0-6.Â

Aubrey Eckstrom played in the No. 3 singles match picking up one point in the first set but ultimately was defeated by the Gusties 1-6, 0-6. The No. 4 & No. 5 singles matches featured
Maddy Knoll and
Leah Obert dropping their matches 0-6, 0-6. Â
First-year
Reilee Schepper played the finals singles match of the competition in the No. 6 spot falling 1-6, 1-6. Â

Ella Graham tallied the lone point of the day for St. Kate's in No. 3 doubles match. Schepper and Graham defeated their opponent 8-7 to extend their conference season total to 5-0.Â
Dorr and Eckstrom were defeated in the No. 1 doubles match 2-8 while Wiedmeier and Knoll played the No. 2 doubles match falling 4-8.Â
St. Catherine is scheduled to host Concordia College on Friday, April 26 at 4:30 p.m. on the campus of St. Kate's. Â
