Volleyball falls to Augsburg in straight sets

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Wildcats three-game win streak was snapped Wednesday with a straight set loss to Augsburg. St. Catherine is now 4-6 in the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference 

Emma Nelson was the Wildcats' top performer against the Auggies with a match-high 13 digs, nine kills and one block. 

Nelson was accompanied by junior Erin Cutts with six kills and one block. Erin Tebben and Bryana Leverentz tallied four kills and one block each in the three-set match. 

First-year Abbi Harker had two service aces plus 11 assists, averaging 4.51 assists per set and in the No. 15 spot in the conference. Harker splits time in the setters spot with rookie Marissa Gilbertson who is averaging 5.72 assists per set and recorded 14 tonight. 

St. Catherine will travel to Bethel University on Saturday for a 6 pm conference match.
