ASHLAND, Wis. - Day two of the Northland College Tournament was in favor of the Wildcats going 2-0 over NAIA member Silver Lake College and Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) opponent Northland College. The Wildcats started off day two of the Northland College Tournament strong taking Silver Lake College from Manitowoc, Wis. in a quick three sets with a point margin of 75-37. Peper had twelve kills and six digs in the first match with junior libero
Larissa Kisch (Oakdale, Minn. / Cretin-Derham Hall) leading the team in digs with twenty-one and six assists. Starting in the setter position in match one was sophomore
Brooke Beuning (New London, Minn. / New London-Spicer) adding eighteen assists. Junior setter Megan Schwarzrock was also vital in the first match adding 10 assists.

In the last match of the tournament, the Wildcats dominated all three sets over tournament hosts the Jills from Northland College. Peper, Kisch, and Beuning again were match leaders with help from Schwarzrock, sophomore middle hitter
Erin Cutts (Osceola, Wis.) with seven kills and two aces and junior outside hitter
Emma Nelson (Byron, Minn.) with five kills and nine digs. Peper had five kills and one block, Kisch went for five aces and eight digs. Beuning and Schwarzrock added sixteen and six assists, respectively.
St. Kate's is on the road again next Wednesday when they open the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) season in St. Joseph, Minn. at the College of Saint Benedict. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
