2016 StatisticsĀ
2018: In her junior year, Nelson played in all 26 matches, starting 24. Appearing in 85 sets, Nelson averaged 2.75 points per set and 2.35 kills per set. She registered a career-high 16 kills against Saint Ben's tallying 200 total kills ranking her second on the team. Nelson was also second on the team in digs with 270 total averaging 3.18 per set.Ā
2017:Ā As a sophomore, Nelson appeared in 22 matches for the Wildcats, primarily as an outside hitter. She tallied 99 kills during the season, including a career-high 12 in a four set loss to Carleton in October. Nelson also recorded a career-high 20 digs in a three set loss to UW-Superior earlier in the month. She ended the season with 99 kills in 450 attempts, 180 digs and 17 aces. Named to Dean's List in Spring 2018.
2016: In her first season with St. Kate's, Nelson appeared in 21 matches and played in 54 sets, primarily as an outside hitter. She ended the season 57 kills in 272 attempts, 93 digs, and nine blocks.Ā

High School:Ā Nelson was a key player for the Byron Bears, serving as captain of the team her junior and senior year. Nelson earned All-Conference honors and was named team MVP after the 2015 season. She also played basketball for the Bears and was a member of National Honors Society.Ā
Personal:Ā Psychology Major. She is the daughter of Gail and Scott Nelson.
I chose St. Catherine because:Ā for the atmosphere that surround the campus. Everyone here is pushing to be the best they can in the classroom, athletics, and in their every day life. Also making it a point to bring along those that surround them.
