River Falls led St. Kate's by three points at the end of the first quarter and most of the second quarter when
Ashley Fosness (Britton, S.D. / Britton-Hecla) drained a three-pointer to take the one point lead headed into halftime, 25-24.
The Falcons came out of the half strong to pressure the Wildcats in the third as they teams tied the score at 37-37 with just 10 minutes remaining in the game. Both teams battled for the win in the last quarter as St. Catherine overpowered the Falcons 20-17 to top them 57-54.

The Wildcats play Tuesday, November 20 at 7 pm in Mankato, Minn. against non-conference foe Bethany Lutheran.
