Soccer, volleyball look for weekend wins

ST. PAUL, MINN. – The St. Catherine University soccer and volleyball teams jumped right in to the 2017 season, packing the first week of competition full with games and matches. The soccer team flew out to California while volleyball went to the opposite coast before hosting Martin Luther College in St. Paul, Minnesota on Wednesday.

Both teams busy schedules will continue this weekend, only this time, they will both be a bit closer to home. St. Kate's volleyball will travel down the road to Macalester College to play in the Scots six-team tournament Friday and Saturday, while soccer will host UW-Whitewater at 1 p.m. at St. Kate's soccer field.

Score updates for both the volleyball matches and soccer game can be found on St. Kate's official Twitter account (@stkateswildcats). Live stats and video will also be available for some of the Wildcats volleyball matches at Macalester.
