ST. PAUL, MINN. – It's been an eventful week for the St. Catherine University soccer team. The Wildcats faced Augsburg University in its first Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) game on Tuesday and fell 3-1 despite controlling both the offensive and defensive sides of the game for 90 minutes.
On Saturday, St. Kate's eventful week continues, as it hosts Macalester College at 1 p.m. at St. Kate's fields in St. Paul, Minnesota. Both teams will be looking for their first MIAC wins of the season, as the Scots also lost in their conference opener on Tuesday by a score of 2-1.
