Without further ado, here are the five facts to know before tonight's soccer game:
2 – Monday night's game against the Warriors is the first of two road games the Wildcats will play this week. St. Kate's will also travel to Moorhead, Minnesota to take on Concordia College at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
3 – Senior center back
Shannon Hickey (Eden Prairie, Minn. / Visitation) scored her team-leading third goal of the season in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Cardinals. Hickey, a 2016 All-Conference Honorable Mention honoree, is the first center back in five years to lead the Wildcats both in goals (3) and points (6).
2 – Sophomore forward
Allie Bird (Maple Grove, Minn. / Maple Grove) was responsible for two of St. Kate's three goals Saturday afternoon. It was Bird's corner kick that gave the Wildcats a 2-1 lead five minutes into the second half before she scored her first goal of the season to secure the 3-1 victory.
9 – Since opening conference play in September, St. Kate's has scored nine goals against Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) opponents. The Wildcats currently rank second in the MIAC in goals (9) and lead the conference in shots (94) against MIAC opponents.
5 – Five different student-athletes have scored for St. Kate's in the past two games. Hickey and Bird both scored against Saint Mary's, while
Gabi Fettig (Farmington, Minn. / Farmington),
